Out team is heavily leveraging Planner for day-to-day visibility of activities and has proven exceptionally helpful.
In my non-concourse Teams site, members defined in the Team automatically have access to and can be assign tasks in Planner.
In my Concourse-derived Teams site, two member (identified as Owner of the team) is NOT listed as a member of the Planner site. Both of these individuals WILL be responsible for certain tasks assigned to them.
Why are Owners (in Concourse-derived Teams sites) not functionally treated as members?
Both team members already see great value in having all of their tasks for this project sequestered to the Planner site as they receive consolidated reminders of what is due along with notifications on updates to tasks. It's actually very important they are able to see what is pending their action.
Hi Grace! Thank you for this idea! I've assigned this to our team for their review, thanks again!
