Ability to add Filter parameters to a URL

As a team member working on specific workstreams of a larger project/program, I would like to be able to navigate to a URL that automatically filters my view to a specified workstream. I would also like to be able to create a URL link for any arbitrary filter, grouping, or other view that would be useful to view on demand.
