Finding colleagues by their last name to add to a workspace

Currently for a user with an email like "name.x.lastname@pwc.com" it's impossible to be added by last name or name + last name in Settings. Because of that second name initial the only way it is being found is either by copy pasting the email or by typing "name x lastname" (and no one remembers that middle name initial).

Please consider enabling searching by the last name - offering any emails containing that last name, regardless of the middle name initial existence.

test user: antoine.m.honein@pwc.com ("Antoine Honein" and "Honein" didn't yield search results)

@Brian thanks for the context. Perhaps I wasn't clear: upon entering "Name Lastname", I'd like the search results to find all matches with all middle names in the dropdown for me to choose from. Instead today the search is blank.

I agree that it's good to prevent adding the same user twice or a wrong user...

Thank you for your feedback. At this time, due to the potential risk of accidently adding a user with a similar name, it is highly recommended to copy and paste the user's email. The ability to search will find the desired user assuming the necessary characters are provided which at times require a middle initial. The Concourse Product Team continues to work with the LDAP team that controls that search capability and will provide this feedback for any potential future enhancements.
