As the Save It Champion I receive the requests to delete and reopen workspaces. I then approve or reject the requests based on the reasoning provided. I have had several incidents in the last few weeks in which users have requested to delete their Concourse and Save It workspaces via Concourse in error. I think there are a few contributing factors:
The user clicks on a button that says "close this workspace" but the if the user indicates there is no client data in the workspace the workspaces are actually deleted. Despite the dialogue boxes that users must click through it appears that in some instances users are still under the impression that they are closing their workspaces rather than deleting them.
The user is prompted to indicate if the workspaces includes "client data." Teams whose engagements are documented in client systems may not have "client data" but do have engagement contracts, etc. that need to be retained.
I would also like to request that the user be able to input their own reason for deletion rather than the canned statement that is currently given. When the user provides their own rationale for deletion it provides me with additional information to determine if the request was submitted in error or if the workspace truly can be deleted.
Automate and streamline the Engagement Closure Process
