Atlassian has introduced a new API (Template API) that consolidates the function of multiple APIs we've been using today
Problem Statement Today the template application process take 10-20 minutes to complete. This is due to the method which Control Hub applies templates through multiple APIs. This has been a work around solution to functionality that hasn't existed...Until now.
Solution ScopeAtlassian has just released an API that applied templates to projects and accounts for all of the functions of multiple API and more. Additionally this will significantly reduce the provisioning time for end users. Also stability and reliability benefits from this API.
Removing all the existing endpoints
Replace with calls to get a template & apply a template
