This would allow the user to download attachments for the entire project or by specific JQL. This would try to replace the bulk attachment download plugin. if we develop this capability with don't need the plug in. Let's do spike story in Q1
Allow users to download all project attachments at once, optionally filtered by JQL, to eliminate the need for a third-party plugin.
Users currently rely on a third-party bulk download plugin to access project attachments, which creates external dependencies and potential maintenance/security risks. A native solution simplifies workflows, improves data accessibility, and enhances user trust in the platform.
This feature would replace the existing bulk attachment download plugin. A spike story is planned for Q1 to assess feasibility.

Integration with JQL filtering would support more targeted data access and align with advanced user use cases.
Users can initiate a bulk download of all attachments in a project.
Users can apply a JQL filter to narrow the scope of downloaded attachments.
Downloads are packaged in a compressed format (e.g., .zip) with a clear file structure.
Solution does not require third-party plugins.
Permissions and security are respected (users can only download what they can access).
