Put Simply
Clarify what each search bar is intended to find by updating the placeholder text throughout the Scoping Wizard, improving usability and reducing guesswork—especially as search inputs appear across multiple steps and contexts.
Problem Statement
There are multiple search inputs across the Scoping Wizard experience (e.g., Offerings selection, Delivery Plan, Work Items, etc.), but they currently use vague or default placeholder text (e.g., “Search…”). This has led to confusion during UAT, as users are unclear on what the search is targeting—especially when there are hundreds of items in scope. This slows down task completion and increases friction.
User Story
As a Consultant using the Scoping Wizard,
I want the search fields to show clear and specific placeholder text,
So that I immediately understand what I’m supposed to search for on each screen and can navigate more efficiently.
