Put Simply Statement:
Add UI for the Configuration side of Work Items for Estimation
Why it Matters:
Estimation configuration requires the ability to view all Work Items within an Offering and to view/assign a number of attributes to the Work Items
Attributes: Effort(s), Accelerator(s), Driver(s), Team(s), RSRs, Complexities, Domains, Building Blocks
What’s Needed:
Specific Page/Tab to view all Work Items in the selected Offering and their associated attributes
The specific structure that they will be organized in is TBD
Ability to assign effort and attributes to each work item
this means some place to input a number that denotes the hours to complete the work item
Early ACs:
Given an Admin has an Offering selected, when they view the work item page, then they will see all work items and a table with all the attributes in the Offering in a table view
The work items will be in AIRE structure
There will be N columns with titles in the following order: Work Item, Type, Effort, Team(s), Driver(s), Complexity, Actions (I feel Estimation shouldnt even have actions for work items - they're defined by CC)
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they view the left most part of the table, then they see that there are collapsible hierarchies from Stage --> L6
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they click a cell in the Effort column, then they will be able to input a number to assign/edit an Effort for the work item
The effort value can be between .01 and N
Admins can add up to two decimals to an Effort I.e. 0.01 or 9999.99
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they view the 2nd column, then it will be titled Type and will display the Type of the Work Item/Structure
Types include both Work Item Types (i.e. Deliverable task subtask( and Structure Types (stage substage activity)
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they view the 3rd column then it will be titled Driver(s) and show the list of Drivers assigned to the work item and allow the user to add already created drivers
Each driver will be displayed in the cell for its work item and be displayed in a "bubble"
The bubble will have an x to remove the driver from the work item
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they hover over a driver, then they will see its impact
need to consider how we want to display program variables
Given an Admin is on the work item page, when they click on + Add Driver, then they will a list of the drivers available in the Offering
Clicking + Add Driver will show a dropdown list with all applicable Drivers.
The already selected drivers will be at the top of the dropdown
There will be checkboxes next to each driver for selection/deselection
The admin will be able to search the dropdown
