Establish a rotating role within practice teams (“asset curators”) responsible for collecting, categorizing, and quality-checking project assets for a set period (e.g., three months). These curators would be empowered to select, rank, and maintain the most useful assets, acting as a bridge between project teams and the central repository.
Put Simply: Have team members temporarily take turns managing and organizing shared assets.
Why it Matters: Ensures active management and quality control of the asset repository, leverages practitioner expertise for effective curation, and distributes the workload to prevent burnout.
Supporting Feedback: “...they actually assigned four human beings like to monitoring every project, like those four people doing nothing but like full time, just collecting assets from each project, making sure they're categorized almost like people working in the library... Those kind of rotation based. They're like doing those roles for three months and then they go back to a practice team.”
