Consolidate Notification Emails

Currently I know my teams are bulk deleting all their emails from Concourse because there are too many. Can the notifications be update to either a daily or weekly digest? Maybe the frequency can be selected? I definitely like the notifications, but it defeats the purpose if they are being bulk deleted without being read

    I was just sent 87 emails from Concourse because I assigned myself as owner to a bunch of items. I would suggest disabling emails when someone assigns themself to a task. I can't imagine a scenario where anyone would find that email helpful.

    We currently send notifications to users for 4 different scenarios:

    1. User is added to a workspace (this is immediate)

    2. User is assigned as an owner / member / reviewer on a work item (this is immediate)

    3. Item assigned to user is due today / overdue (summary email sent once a day)

    4. Item assigned to user as 'Reviewer' moves to status 'In Internal Review' (this is immediate)

    We send immediate notifications only on select actions, since we our user interviews suggested that users want to be notified at once when they're assigned to a work item.

    We will also be releasing in-app notifications. Once this is available, you may disable emails and still see the notifications inside Concourse.

    We will consider adding a summary option for a future release.
