Introduce support for Atlassian's new Multi Instance Licensing (MIL) API to streamline license provisioning and validation across multiple Jira instances via Control Hub. The solution was recently made available by Atlassian and is now expected to be integrated in the upcoming PI (Nov–Dec). Initial backend development has been completed by Dino, but QA and minor UI changes will be required.
This update lets us automate plugin licensing across multiple Jira instances—no more manual tracking—making it easier to stay compliant, reduce errors, and scale deployments through Control Hub.
Compliance: Supports Atlassian's updated multi-instance licensing model to avoid violations or gaps.
Efficiency: Removes manual license management for each instance, saving significant time.
Scalability: Enables enterprise-wide plugin deployments without introducing complexity.
Readiness: Now that Atlassian has provided a solution, we must act quickly to integrate and avoid surprises during rollout.
