[Bug][Concourse scoping] Mandatory items visible while "non mandatory" filter is enabled.

Current state: While working on delivery plan in Concourse, we often select the option to display content based on deliverables only. That displays full list of mandatory and non mandatory deliverables. If at this moment I select the filter to display only non - mandatory items, some of the deliverables that are mandatory are still visible (deliverables that have non-mandatory L5 and L6 items assigned).

Expected outcome: I would like the filters to work together and include ONLY the level and parameters of items I've chosen, e.g. if only "Deliverables" and "Non-mandatory" filters are selected, I want to see only non-mandatory deliverables, not all deliverables that are non mandatory and deliverables that are mandatory, but have non-mandatory items assigned to them.

    Hi @Pawel Wojtaszko !

The reason you are seeing a mix of non-mandatory and mandatory when mandatory is filtered so that the hierarchy is maintained. Changing the view of the table to view by Deliverables would also help to reduce seeing the parent levels in view.

For that specific use case in the Expected Outcome, I would suggest to also then filter by the Work Item Type to get to the Deliverable level.

Happy to dive deeper in our next meeting 😊

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, the Scoping team will take a look and determine is there is a defect or is working as designed based on the hierarchy.
