To reduce recurring issues where engagement teams mistakenly configure Test/Demo workspaces and later attempt to use them for client-facing (live) engagements, we should strengthen the user experience and governance controls to make the intended purpose unmistakable.
Recommended enhancements:
Persistent Test/Demo Banner in Concourse
Display a highly visible, persistent red banner across all Test/Demo workspaces.
Consider additional visual cues (e.g., warning icons, contrasting colors, or animation) to clearly indicate the environment is not approved for client use.
Persistent Test/Demo Watermark in Jira
Introduce a non-dismissible banner or watermark within the Jira space that remains visible at all times.
Similar to a "DRAFT" watermark in a document, the indicator should be impossible to overlook and clearly communicate:

Dedicated Jira Templates for Test/Demo Use Cases
Create distinct Jira templates specifically for Test/Demo workspaces.
Include prominent messaging throughout the template as noted in 2. above
