the same logic as with "bring your own SaveIT": in majority of cases some project conversations start before the workspace is created. It means that some channels are created.

However, I believe we need to diferentiate 3 scenarios here:
1. New client, new project: new opp created in Salesforce and new workspace should be created just after it. As a result we have a workspace, saveit and teams channel.
2. New or even existing client, new project: here definitely we will have some channels created before the workspace created. So it will be nice not to lose all conversation history and avoid creating new channels via workspace.
3. Existing projects trying to adopt PDM: for such projects we already have both SaveIT and advanced team channels. To avoid project disruption we need to have possibility to connect existing saveit and teams channel to new workspace, otherwise we risk that bigger long term engagement will not proceed with transition to PDM due to operational risks [e.g. losing project context and conversation history].

Hello Sharanya and Olek, please provide some additional detail on how you would see this working and the business value. Are you wanting a link in the app switcher that you can configure for quick access to your additional Teams space for auditing purposes? Concourse is configured with 1 single Teams and Save It configuration and therefore we cannot use a pre-existing Teams in place of the one that will be stood up with Save It.

Good idea in general - especially if we are moving live engagements to PDM set-up. Re-creating everything from scratch is not possible as you cannot move conversations from one channel to another.
