Associating deliverable status "completeness" to sub-tasks and checklists

Would be awesome if a deliverable or task status could be automatically updated based on completion of sub-task or checklist items. Currently the user has to manually update the status of a deliverable, but it would be easier if this happened automatically based on dependencies of task, sub-task and checklist completion.

For example, if there are 4 sub-tasks associated with a task, the task status would update to 25% complete every time a sub-task is completed. And furthermore, if there are 4 checklist items associated with a sub-task, the sub-task status would automatically update to 25% complete when the first checklist item is checked off.

Looks like a portion of this has been implemented! It appears that when a subtask or task is updated, the user is given an option to roll up the status to the parent or grandparent. However, this could be improved by doing so automatically instead of making the user click multiple times to update the parent and grandparent since the parent and grandparent MUST be in progress if the child is in progress.
