I repeatedly got a generic error from concourse when trying to generate a new concourse. This appeared to be because the "Salesforce ID" included a lower-case letter, instead of a capital one; capitalizing all letters appeared to fix the issue.
The Salesforce ID in question was "0064L00000E80HJQAJ," which was stated as "0064L00000E80HjQAJ"
This seems like a simple fix.
Additionally, because I am a senior associate, I cannot query Salesforce to confirm the Salesforce ID.
