More keyboard navigation / bulk updates

When inputting a workstream, owner, start date, etc. in the Deliverables section, it would be faster to be able to tab from column to column instead of having to click each field. Hitting enter also doesn't automatically select the next row or box, so it becomes very tedious to update all of the fields for each activity.

Similarly, if I have created a deliverable with multiple tasks or sub-tasks, I have to populate the columns of information one row at a time. A multi-select or multi-apply functionality would make the process much less cumbersome.

Hi Jenna! Thank you for this idea! We've assigned this to our team and they'll be reviewing it.

There is a multi-select/bulk edit function that you may find useful:

    • Click on the three dots to the right of the parent work item you want to add child work items to (like a task you want to add sub-tasks to)

    • Click create sub-task

    • Type the name of the sub-task and hit enter, that will add a new blank sub-task

    • Once you've added all of the sub-tasks, you can hit the X mark to the right of the text box to stop adding new sub-tasks

    • To bulk edit, select the check box to the left of the first work item you want to edit

    • Holding shift and clicking on the check box to the left of the last item you want to edit will allow you to select all of them

    • A pop-up box will appear at the bottom of the screen to edit certain components of the work items (note: work items must be the same level for you to be able to bulk delete)

I know that's a lot of info, so I attached a quick video too!

Hopefully that helps as a workaround and thank you again!
