In the current implementation if an "Open" survey need to be edited for any level of change, such as adding a new response option to an existing MC type question, or adding a new question, all of the previously captured responses from users are deleted. Users must manually download the excel version and keep a backup copy to prevent risk of data loss.

Would be very helpful to archive the previous responses if an open survey is changed to edit and then back to open, or depending on the level of change to the survey keeps the responses altogether.
