I propose adding a Conversational AI feature to JIRA that enables users to manage task progress through natural dialogue. This aims to reduce the operational burden on users by automating status updates, comments, and logs based on AI-driven interactions.
Why it Matters:
Currently, progress updates and confirmations in JIRA are handled manually, which leads to the following issues:
Missed updates to task statuses
Time-consuming manual input for comments and information sharing
Frequent meetings or chat communications required for progress checks
What's Needed:
Add a feature that enables task progress checks through conversations with an AI chatbot
Automatically update JIRA task statuses, comments, and logs based on the content of the conversation
